- Book Review,
by Norm M. Gillam

Book Description
The carrot eating community of Willow Grove is stunned when all their carrot fields are suddenly empty. Where are the carrots? “Who Stole the Carrots?” is a delightful tale of how 2 rabbits and a raccoon turn detectives and make it their business to find out.

Being a little bear has its ups and downs as Madison D. Bear discovers. Becoming airborne while flying a kite is bad enough, but Madison’s troubles are just beginning. Travel with him to a strange place, and meet some very interesting people. “Time to Fly a Kite” reveals the consequences of trying to meddle with Mother Nature.

It’s time for the annual Willow Grove/Dudevale baseball match, and the local team is less than enthusiastic. Willow Grove has never won the trophy, and this is Coach Max Bear’s last chance. “Playball” is a never give up story, showing that dreams, however far fetched they might seem, can become reality - when mixed with a little luck.

About the Author
Norm Gillam is a writer of children’s fiction, adult fantasy, and award winning short stories. He is currently working on his second humorous fantasy novel, a follow up to — A Gnome for All Occasion. He lives in Perth, Western Australia.
