The premise is straightforward--a young girl is going about her daily activities and questions are asked. A clock appears in each picture to help kids answer the riddle. The clocks vary from those with two hands to those with digital displays. The answers are at the bottom of the pages. The illustrations are humorous, which really helps because the format and text are not particularly inspiring. Activities at the end include notes to parents and teachers, a retelling of the story, an explanation of a.m. and p.m., and instructions for making a clock to use in the game "Show Me." Part of the "Hello Reader!" series, Math Level 2.
