Franklin really enjoys Christmas. He and his classmates are collecting toys to donate to needy families. When Franklin goes through his toy box, he realizes that they all have fond memories and he doesn't want to part with anything, except a broken truck. As the day for donations draws closer, Franklin realizes how great it is to get a gift that means something. He fondly remembers Great Aunt Harriet who always gives him something special. Franklin finally decides that he too must give a gift that is special. It is a story with a positive message that emphasizes the true meaning of Christmas. Franklin fans will enjoy another delightful book in the series.
