SYNOPSIS

Shaw (San Jose State University) exposes students to moral problems that arise in various business contexts, looks at the moral, social, and economic environments within which these problems occur, and introduces ethical concepts relevant for solving these problems. A wide range of theoretical and applied issues are discussed, allowing teachers flexibility in organizing their courses. Although the primary emphasis is on business, the book's scope extends to related moral issues in other organizational and professional contexts. This fifth edition contains a total of 39 case studies; six of them are new and many of them have been revised and updated. Annotation ©2004 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR
