From the Back Cover

"This is a marvelous text."--GRACE THORNHILL, University of Wisconsin, River Falls

"Black is the kind of text that students keep experiencing rather than sell after they have completed the course. It is interesting, informative and is a good reference to have on hand for many of those everyday questions people often ask."--MARK FARINHA, University of North Texas

"Although my students complain that I assign too much reading, they never complain about the Black textbook."--MANUEL VARELLA, Eastern New Mexico University
