About the Author
Lawrence J. Gitman, San Diego State University. Dr. Gitman is a prolific textbook author and has published numerous articles in a variety of finance-related journals. He is Past President of the San Diego Chapter of the Financial Executives Institute, the Midwest Finance Association, and the Academy of Financial Services. He also served as Vice President for Financial Education of the Financial Management Association. He received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, his M.B.A. from the University of Dayton, and his Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati.
