About the Author
Leonard J. Brooks is Professor of Business Ethics & Accounting at the Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto. He is the Executive Director of the Rotman School's Clarkson Centre for Business Ethics and Board Effectiveness, Director of its Master of Management & Professional Accounting Program, and Director of its Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting Program. Professor Brooks is the Founding Editor of the Corporate Ethics Monitor, a pioneering bi-monthly publication, and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business Ethics. He has published articles on accounting and ethics issues, and has authored or co-edited books and a research monograph on business and professional ethics, corporate social performance, and developing and maintaining an ethical corporate culture. He received the 2000 Ethics in Action Award - Ongoing Social Responsibility - Individual in recognition of his leadership in the field of corporate social responsibility. Prof. Brooks is a member of the American Accounting Association, Canadian Academic Accounting Association, Academy of Management, Society for Business Ethics, and International Association for Business & Society.
