The College Football Bibliography, Vol. 2
- Book Review,
by Myron J. Smith (Compiler)

From Booklist
Right on the heels of Smith's bibliography, Professional Football [RBB O 1 93], comes his compilation on college football since 1869. It is arranged the same as the previous work: sections listing reference works, general works, conferences, and individual teams, followed by the largest section listing biographies of players and coaches. (Also included is a brief section on rivalries, big games, and postseason play.) More than 12,000 books, chapters in annuals, and periodical articles are listed, covering more than 300 college teams and more than 1,000 players. There are indexes by author and subject. All libraries in colleges with a football team will want this book; public libraries should consider purchase, too. Sandy Whiteley
