Leslie Stroebel, Ed.D, Professor Emeritus at Rochester Institute of Technology, is well-respected as an educator, author, and editor. He taught photography for forty-four years at RIT, during which time he was chairman of the Professional Photography Department and the Department of Imaging and Photographic Technology. He has written numerous books and articles, including Photographic Materials and Processes (Focal Press, 1986) and Basic Photographic Materials and Processes (Focal Press, 1990), both with John Compton, Ira Current, and Richard Zakia.
