Explains how water flows from brooks, to streams, to rivers, over waterfalls, through canyons and dams, to eventually reach the ocean.
FROM THE PUBLISHER
Water is always flowing. But where does it go?
Follow the water as it flows from your roof after a rain storm, down the street, to a brook, to a stream, to a river, over a cliff in a waterfall, and finally to the ocean.
In this enlarged book, you will learn how water shapes the earth, how people use water, and why it's important to keep our water clean.

School Library Journal
K-Gr 4-- An excellent presentation of introductory material about water. Addressing readers in the second-person ``you,'' it clearly explains such terms as ``brook,'' ``stream,'' ``river,'' and ``delta,'' and illustrates such basic concepts as where water comes from, how it travels, and where it goes. The illustrations are simple, almost childlike, in soft colors. In a few cases, however, it is difficult to distinguish between water and land because the contrast in tone is subtle; otherwise, the artwork is pleasant and effective.
